Rye is a cool season grass that has a fine apperance and a soft, lush texture. It is incredibly shade tolerant and has a slow growth rate - meaning less mowing. Due to its shade tolerance, it can be used to oversow into couch grass in places where shade is inhibiting regular growth, but is suitable to install over your entire lawn.
Rye is best kept around 3-4cm tall and should be watered regularly during the warmer months.
