Dichondra Repens, or kidney grass (so called because of the shape of the leaves) is an attractive and useful ground cover/lawn substitute. It can grow in full sun but is also extrememly shade tolerant. One of the best features of Dichondra is its low mowing rate. Becuase of the way that it grows, in most situations you only need to mow it four times a year! 150g covers 15m2.
